Our modern, light-filled Hawthorn Yoga studio offers Yoga classes to suit all levels, everyone is welcome.

We offer modifications for beginners and variations for those with an advanced practice.

We extend a warm welcome to yogis who live in Hawthorn, Hawthorn East or in near by suburbs around Melbourne to join our active Yoga community. 

  • Strengthen & detoxify with Hot Yoga. Our Hot classes are dynamic rather than static like Bikram Yoga classes. 
  • Energise & find balance with Flow (vinyasa yoga based).
  • Stabilise & focus on technique with Slow Flow.
  • Relax & mobilise with Yin Yoga.

We also offer regular workshops and yoga retreats, as well as a mobile yoga service for community, school and corporate groups.

Hot

– For our Hot Yoga class we turn our specialised FIR heaters up to 35 degrees to detoxify and revitalise.
– Our Hot Yoga includes vinyasa flow to build fitness and strength as well as static poses similar to those found in the Bikram yoga sequence.
– Come to class hydrated. A towel and water bottle are recommended.

Flow

– For Flow we keep the temperature at a balmy 27 degrees for an energetic and rejuvenating class.
– Dynamic power vinyasa flow is a faster paced class building cardio fitness as you synchronise movement with breath.
– Our Flow integrates awareness and alignment while building strength, tone, flexibility and core stability.

Hot

– Slow Flow is great for those new to Yoga. It’s the perfect transition towards Hot & Flow, where you will focus on technique to stabilise and build strength.

Yin

– Yin Yoga is a static class with long, deep holds for enhanced mobility especially the hips and spine.
– Enjoy this gentle Yoga class in a welcoming, regular temperature room to relax and unwind.
– A therapeutic complement to our energetic classes that stimulates the body’s meridians (energy lines) to help balance out an active lifestyle.

SLOW FLOW

– Our Slow Flow is all about control and alignment, with as much creativity but half the pace of our Flow.

HAWTHORN YOGA TimeTable

If you are new to class please book your introductory ‘6 Classes for $50’ special online via our website or app. We highly recommend booking your classes to secure your spot and keep yourself accountable. All classes are 60 minutes except for our ‘Flow Plus’ and ‘Yin & Meditation’ classes which are 75 minutes long.

 

YOGA Mentorship Program

Are you new to yoga teaching? Do you lack the experience needed to lead a yoga class with confidence?

Our Yoga Teacher Mentorship Program allows you to book a private session, or multi session package, with our experienced senior teachers to take your teaching to the next level.

After a full day at work, coming to Kula for an evening sweat sesh is a huge sigh of relief. I love being able to arrive at the lovely inviting space and the cheery faces of the instructors. The hot classes are my favourite and it’s such a pleasure to work through the poses then be able to rest in meditation (and if you’re lucky, a song sung by Steph). It’s the best way to wind down for the evening.
