All asanas help us to detox in one way or another, but if you’re really looking to release physical toxins from the body and give a boost to the mind, here are three to begin incorporating into your daily practice.
1. Seated Spinal Twist (Matsyendrasana or Ardha Matsyendrasana)
This pose gorgeously helps to stimulate the digestive organs and remove impurities from the body. Hold this twist for at least ten breaths, and when it is released, blood flows to the kidneys and liver to help detoxify your body.

2. Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana)
Inversions help to reverse the direction of blood flow and drain accumulated lymphatic fluid from the legs and upper body. Hold this for 20 breaths and feel the added bonus of an energy boost!

3. Forearm Wheel (Urdhva Dhanurasana)
Heart-openers help to release stagnation and stored emotions in the body. This pose also helps to remove congestion and activate metabolism!
