Spring is here and this month’s studio theme is ‘Abundance’.
I have decided, there is no more room in my emotional landscape for limitations and lack this spring. It is time to open up, clean out, and replace any feelings of emptiness with gratitude. I’m letting go of limiting beliefs, I’m focusing on being present and open to abundance.
There are different kinds of wellness – physical, emotional, spiritual, career, financial, community and more. And there are different kinds of fortune.
True abundance is when you experience ‘joy, health, happiness, sense of purpose and vitality’, says Deepak Chopra.
Here are some things you can start to do right now to get on track towards abundance:
1. Practice gratitude.
Even on the worst day there’s always something you can be grateful for. You can keep a gratitude diary to list all that you are thankful for – and you can take it a step further by writing a thank you note to the universe for bringing it to you.
2. Practice self-care.
Don’t underestimate how powerful this is. Take some time out to do something that makes you happy. Get some fresh air, go on an adventure, play with your kids, friends or pets. Put your feet up and read a book, or get sweaty at the gym, or come and see us at the studio for a blissful yoga class.
3. Perform a random act of kindness.
Sometimes you feel like you’re having the worst day ever – you just can’t raise your vibration. The old saying of ‘what goes around comes around’ is so true. When you can’t seem to get out of your rut – can you switch your focus to someone else? What can you do for them to make them smile? And in turn get you back on track towards positivity and abundance.
I find that when I make time for myself, my health, and surround myself with a supportive community, I can access emotional abundance.
What makes you feel abundant?
“To live a pure unselfish life, one must count nothing as one’s own in the midst of abundance.” Buddha
See you on your mats. Sweat, stretch & smile,
Kacey
