Yoga is a workout for the mind, body and soul. For students in the Camberwell and Hawthorn areas, Kula is the largest yoga studio in the area and we’re here to offer you the chance to detoxify, cleanse, relax and strengthen. As our community has evolved, we’ve decided to  make a few changes in order to better serve our students. From next week, Kula will begin offering ‘Basics” classes 4x per at the studio. These classes will take place in our small boutique Air studio meaning smaller class sizes and more hands-on adjustments and individual attention. Room temperature means no struggling with the heat factor! Feel overwhelmed by fast paced classes? Want to learn yoga foundations or revisit alignment principles. This style is catered to all levels however beginners will love the slower pace and extra focus on technique.
In your ‘Basics’ class, you will:

  • Focus on correct alignment and technique to build a strong foundation
  • Strengthen and stretch to stabilise and release the body while calming the mind
  • Explore simple Sun Salutations, standing and balancing, seated, twisted and strengthening poses
