Once you’ve had a bub we know how hard it is to find time for yourself. We created our Yoga With Baby classes so that mum and bub can practice, stretch, and have fun together. It’s also a great opportunity for mums to meet and connect as well as share experiences and build community.
Who is it for?
Yoga With Baby classes are meant for mums (or dads) who have recently given birth. Though there is no age limit for bubs, you must be cleared for physical activity after birth (usually six weeks). Mobile bubs are welcome, as long as you’re willing to chase them! Yoga With Baby classes offer a safe, welcoming and kind space for new parents and babies.
What should I bring?
Bring anything to make yourself and your baby most comfortable. We provide mats at the studio and we have space downstairs for prams and any other large items you don’t need to bring inside the studio. During the class bub is welcome to feed, sleep or play.
What to except?
Each Yoga With Baby session is five weeks long, however the classes are part of a rolling course so start whenever you’re ready. Each class has a specific theme, from baby massage to twists and relaxation techniques. Classes are very calm and accommodating, casual and comfortable. Please do not be concerned about how your baby is behaving!
What are the benefits of the style?
Doing yoga with your baby is a great way to get back into yoga after time away from physical activity. Yoga With Baby class is a great way to build fitness levels back up and enjoy time with bub at the same time. Meeting and connecting with other mothers is an added bonus!
Yoga With Baby classes are a wonderful and safe way to transition back into regular exercise and a regular yoga practice.
