We’ve been so lucky with the sunshine, haven’t we?
So it almost feels like a shock to the system now, with the cold snap and rain rolling in.

Every year around this time, I find myself flipping perspectives:

☀️ In summer — you’re hot and sweaty anyway… might as well be practicing in the studio!
❄️ In winter — it’s cold and gloomy… so come into your yoga sanctuary to defrost and warm up!

And every year, I notice similar patterns in our community:

We have the impressively consistent, year-round yogis who keep showing up no matter the weather or the season—legends.

We have our yogis who usually run or ride outdoors in the warmer months—and when the dark mornings and wet days hit, they ramp up their yoga practice instead.

And then we have those who go into hibernation mode. Zero judgement from us—but we do miss seeing your faces in the studio through the colder months!

Which one are you?

If you’re heading into hibernation, here’s my gentle nudge: maybe this is the winter to shift that pattern?

To make a conscious choice to keep the momentum going with your practice.

Because we all know how easily our physical and mental wellbeing can take a hit over winter. It’s not called the “winter blues” for nothing.

What if this winter, you embraced the season—and leaned into it?

Maybe that looks like more Hot Yoga, Slow Flow and Yin Yoga…
More rest and stillness…
More nourishment and reflection…
More listening to your body, and giving it what it needs.

Maybe it’s booking that yoga retreat to Bali (hint hint – only 2 rooms left!)

We know it can be hard to find the motivation to leave the warmth of home.

But I promise—braving the cold and rain to come into our beautiful studio spaces is so worth it.

To move, breathe and stretch.
To smile, chat and connect.
To lift your energy and mood—and carry that with you through the rest of your day.

So, is this the winter you commit to keeping the momentum going?
To taking care of yourself?

I’ll be there too. Will I see you on the mat?

With love,
Kacey x
